Planning to run a Baltic Crusade Campaign at Advance the Colors, Springfield, OH Sept 20-22.

The game will start at 2PM on Friday the 20th and run for two sessions that evening. If you are not there at 2, you can jump into the War anytime with a fresh army, but maybe a little catching up to do on points

Playing for prestige and a $25 USD Buffalo Wild Wings Gift certificate donated by David Shepps!

Please send me a PM or post here or on Fanaticus:

To choose an army.

More details on the campaign rules posted on Fanaticus.

Some Loaners will be available even at the convention.

following army options:
Poland III/62b – Brian Peruski
Russian III/78
Early Slavs (Wends) III/1a
Teutonic Order IV/30
Sword Brethren – Teutonic Order IV/30 – David Shepps
Prussians IV/28
Lithuanians IV/18
Estonians IV/27
Denmark III/40d
Hungary III/67b
Mongolia IV/35
Germany IV/13a … No pike option

Also here is the Campaign Map so far…..

There are no cities this time… each player will hold three tokens representing their territory and the last one they can loose will be their capital.

Countries can attack and neighbor or can pass through countries that are not being played to attack a country on the next border (i.e. this way empty player slots are treated as allowing armies to pass through)

Players will draw cards for turn order and declare their attacks, the receiving country can then choose to defend or take a siege…

So this will be a slight twist on our already played campaign, but with the ability to hold open slots for countries to be added in later if players show up midway through the campaign.

If I may make an observation, since all prizes are worth $25 USD, why is there the presumption that the BW3 card is the best prize? If I was the winner, why would I want a gift card to a place I never go? I would much rather have the dealer bucks. How about letting the winner pick which one he wants and so on down the line?

Dervel Fezian11 Sep 2013 11:52 a.m. PST

Well I can certainly ask the donor of the prize support?

Are you signing up to win one? :)
