DragonCon has GAMING! They did a really good job doing it as well.

Ugh! I was at Dragoncon when you were running this and wasn't aware. I was told if you are a mini gamer then don't go looking for mini wargames at Dcon any longer. So, I didn't even think to check out the gaming. Are you local to Atlanta?

Rudysnelson06 Sep 2013 4:44 a.m. PST

I am only 2 hours away from Atlanta but the high cost of admission keeps me away.

oh my god they are pouring in, i think we're gonna run out of clarified butter!!! :-)

I'm in St. Louis. This was my first dcon. I had heard the same thing and was very pleasantly surprised.

With 57000 people even if one percent game that is still enough for a good sized local gaming con

Heinz
Actually no drawn butter was needed that time. It was the bugs that feasted!

Thanks Rebel minis!

Wait a minute, was that fort the bugs attacking the Alamo?

Ok just read the article and it is or was the Alamo.

tsofian07 Sep 2013 6:09 a.m. PST

Yes
it is the Blue Moon Alamo. I had long admired that model and looked for a reason to buy it without getting into yet another period. Since there are numerous similar missions throughout former Spanish parts of the world I figured I could use it in Central America for the Second Hive War.

The model is really excellent. It paints up nicely and looks stunning on the table. It is pricey but well worth it.

Here is another picture of the Alamo

As you can see it dominates the table.
