She wears greaves because she didn't have time to shave her legs.

Excellent painting, proportions, pose, expression. Just wow. I even like her footwear. Bare feet are actually practical footwear for gladiatorial combat, which is plausible with the greaves, heater, and javelin. |

I think she used boil wash on her top when a cool wash was what it said on the label. |
