Here's a peek at the first batch of our upcoming 3mm armour range which will offer various armour from WWII to the present day.
The green tank is a 15mm T-55 (not actual size) for scale, and then the 3mm from back to front of the line: T-90A T-62 T-34/76 T-34/76 command cupola T-34/85 T-55 BMP-1 BTR-80 M-60A1 Separate turrets on the AFVs so they can be positioned! These are coming along nicely – stay tuned. |

Wow!! Can't wait to start throwing money at you for those!! |
Mako11 | 01 Sep 2013 5:34 p.m. PST |
Wow, those look great! Love the separate turret option. Now we need M-113s, M-48A-5s, Jagdpanzer Kanones and Raketes, Leopard Is, Marders, BRDM-2, etc. I'd like a nice, hand-tossed, pepperoni, Italian sausage, green bell pepper, and white onion pizza too, if those will be available soon, as well. ;-) |

I hope to be. Been planning that for awhile, but waiting on the Alien shuttle, to go with the other stuff I want/need. Need to order when your website is open, too, since that's thwarted me a couple of time in the past. ;-) |
Jamesonsafari | 01 Sep 2013 5:43 p.m. PST |
So multipose figures for the infantry obviously? :D |
khurasanminiatures | 01 Sep 2013 5:50 p.m. PST |
Hey, I'm open. In the past five years my site's been closed about a sum total of a month and a half. Not a perfect record, but better than selling via forum posts anyway. :-) |

I can't believe the detail on those at what; 1/600th scale! |

Whooo Hooo!!! Looks good!! I'm always glad to see more 3mm-1/600 sale miniatures coming out. Some of the gap fillers will be great too. Robert My 1/600th miniature aircraft and rules Yahoo Group link

Those look nice for sure, can't wait to see the actual castings. Lots of those have already been done – would be nice if some of the missing pieces in the scale would be done up. Any idea on cost? |
taskforce58 | 01 Sep 2013 7:43 p.m. PST |
Wow, Khurasan is really raising the standard on 1/600. Damn, and I already finished my 3 battalions of Oddzial Osmy T-55s for the Egyptians. But I plan on adding a battalion of T-34/85 for the infantry divisions so I guess I can wait for these ones. |
khurasanminiatures | 01 Sep 2013 7:46 p.m. PST |
I'm expediting them so they're on the fast track. Sho't and M1A2 will follow. |
Generalstoner49 | 01 Sep 2013 8:42 p.m. PST |
How about French? O8 has not made them. We need or perhaps I should say myself would love to see LeClerc AMX30 etc. Any chance you will be doing French? |
khurasanminiatures | 01 Sep 2013 9:03 p.m. PST |
Quite possible! We'll see. First up is going to be Cold War vehicles used in the Yom Kippur War, and ultramodern vehicles as well. |
MiniPatton | 01 Sep 2013 9:07 p.m. PST |
Marcin (the O8 guy) has said Modern French are coming out – there are a few holes in ultra modern stuff for sure. There are a few 1/600 wish lists floating around the internet I believe. I know I have a number of units waiting for one or two pieces of equipment to be completed (M777, M198 howitzers, etc.) Looking forward to seeing these – I'll ask again, any idea on what the price will be like? |
Toshach | 01 Sep 2013 9:17 p.m. PST |
I've been resisiting the OO stuff. It's pretty good but not good enough to pull me away from GHQ. Yours are different. They look to be beautifully sculpted, detailed, and proportioned. I'm looking forward to them. |

WOW! Will you be releasing all those with that level of detail in 15mm? It's extremely good. I cannot wait to see your other 15mm stuff, but I'm tempted to buy 3mm to make my counters for the Campaign Map. |
MHoxie | 02 Sep 2013 1:56 a.m. PST |
Say, 3mm JGSDF would be good for Kaiju games. Just sayin'. |
Steve W | 02 Sep 2013 2:28 a.m. PST |
Hi Very nice looking I know the people a the 3mm yahoo group will be delighted at another manufacturer starting to produce tanks etc at this scale Not sure if you considered it but I know there would be some interest in SciFi at this scale as well link |
Kaoschallenged | 02 Sep 2013 2:32 a.m. PST |
I would love some SciFi and some more aircraft too.Though I believe that someone else has 3mm-1/600 SciFi in the works. I just can't remember who at this time. Just too late here to think LOL Robert My 1/600th miniature aircraft and rules Yahoo Group link |

WOW! Will you be releasing all those with that level of detail in 15mm? It's extremely good. Yes, that's how the vehicles originated. Several of them will be released frighteningly soon! One has already been released (the T90A). |
Lion in the Stars | 02 Sep 2013 9:38 a.m. PST |
Say, 3mm JGSDF would be good for Kaiju games. Just sayin'. That might actually get me to buy into 3mm. But I'd prefer the JGSDF gear in 15mm! |
khurasanminiatures | 02 Sep 2013 10:34 a.m. PST |
Really like that new Japanese MBT-lite. Definitely a possibility. |
Macunaima | 02 Sep 2013 1:40 p.m. PST |
OK, Khurasan Miniatures, let me give you guys some unsolicited advice. In my defence, I can say that I've been doing micro-scales since BEFORE O8's stuff came out and, while I love your figs, I'll probably not buy anything from you that I haven't yet bought from O8. But it strikes me that there's a huge untapped market for 3mm stuff that O8 hasn't yet done or will not be ready to do for some time. My question, then, is why start your 3mm line with stuff O8 already has covered? I mean, as far as it goes, doing the Soviets is a good deal because so many armies use their kit. But you guys are well-renowned because of your stunning SF ranges. How about some SF love for us in 3mm, then? O8 hasn't done a thing and there's stuff that SCREAMS for manufacturer. I bring to your attention the fact that SJG's Ogre will soon be re-released and that many folks will be looking for a cheaper/smaller alternative to SJG's 6mm line. Here's stuff that's immediately needed in SF, which no one is producing, in order of necessity (IMHO)
1) Power armor. We can use 3mm moderns for regular infantry, but we need some decent power armor figs standing about 4-5mm in height. I myself would prefer SF3D-style power armor, but I'll take anything. 2) GEV tanks. Right now, I'm using repurposed space fighters bought on Shapeways for my GEVs. I would love some purpose-made stuff with the level of detail you're showing here. 3) GEV APCs. 4) Some sort of missile tank. There's really nothing out there in the high tech lines that can be used. I'm currentyl using Warrior APCs with kit-bashed missile launchers glued to the top of their hulls. 5) Grav tanks and APCs. Again, nothing out there is usable. I have actually scratch-built a couple from plasticard. I'd say a 3mm version of Top Gun's grav armor would go down right well
6) Some sort of drop-ship, a la "Aliens". 7) A heavy sci-fi-style tank (with treads or – better yet – ball wheels) 8) A superheavy tank. 9) A decent-looking cybertank. Germy 's stuff is great, but too cartoony to mix well with O8's figs or your proposed line. 10) Finally, mecha or walkers. These are far down the list because there are actually quite a lot of 6mm figs which one can repurpose into 3mm mecha. Still, I would buy a nicely designed line of, say, 12-18mm tall mechas that were clearly divided into light, medium, heavy and support types. Note that this line would fit like a glove for all those people now doing fast-play Battletech, too. All of these figs are desperately needed and none of them would compete with O8's current lines. Just some thoughts for you all. Here's a shot of some of my repurposed moderns, showing how desperate we are for SF GEVs

Your Corsair power armor in 3mm would be the bee's knees. Just sayin'

bishnak | 03 Sep 2013 2:05 a.m. PST |
They look very nice, but I'd also prefer to see gaps in other ranges covered. Modern French and Chinese would be a great start :) Bish |
jbmudshark | 03 Sep 2013 6:12 a.m. PST |
Those are some beautiful models. I do hope to see this line come along and soon. The detail is stunning from what I see and is truly wanted I am sure by many. I do own an enormous amount of o8s, but if I can get models like what is shown I would definitly replace and/or add. From what is shown is like comparing H&Rs to GHQ
I do hope this line is started as shown. I am not really concerned with Sci-Fi at this scale so I would say concentrate on historicals, Pretty please, and yes with sugar on top!! |
Heinz Good Aryan | 03 Sep 2013 1:34 p.m. PST |
so that means a t55 hull is about 10mm long? oh my GAWD!!! well actually I can see that making for some massed battle coolness

MiniPatton | 03 Sep 2013 4:43 p.m. PST |
Modern Chinese is something I've been after since I started in the scale a few years ago. You'd have a considerable sum of my disposable income if you were to make PLA armor and vehicles. |
steve atkinson | 04 Sep 2013 9:39 a.m. PST |
Very nice models Jon , with the quality we have come to expect from you . Yoy know the market pretty well , the most obvious gaps in the 08 ranges are modern/ultra modern French , Chinese , Israeli and Japanese . 3mm sci fi could be interesting , a busy old time for you with the 6mm sci fi on top . I look forward to the releases and orders . Steve . |
Dave Crowell | 18 Sep 2013 6:39 a.m. PST |
I have a decent collection of OO8 kit, mostly for Afab/Israeli. What I really want to see before I buy from Khurasan as well is a side by side shot so I can decide how well the two ranges will mix for my purposes. I have Khurasan 15mm so I am not doubting the quality, just wanting to see how they mix. |

A 15mm M60A1 would be nice, as well as some 1960s – early 1980s American troops (in old-style helmets), to go up against the soon to be released Russian ones, in addition to the sub-micro scale armor. |
