Hi All,

With the release of the Ronin, I thought it was time to dig out some of my old samurai figures and terrain (these has been gathering dust in the closet since the cancellation of WAB's Divine Wind book). Most of it is still unpainted, but I thought I'd share what I have so far:

That is really beautiful. I am waiting for my fantasy Japanese stuff to arrive from Spain. I am really excited about getting back into Japanese gaming.

Lovely temple to fight over there!

Nice mixture of makes as well. TAG, Perry and Old Glory, I think.

Thanks Everyone! As the Colonel noticed, I mix figures from all three lines for my monks, villagers, and ashigaru. The TAG figures are bulkier than Perry (OG is somewhere in the middle), but don't think it looks too bad in mob format. However, I wouldn't try to mix the TAG and Perry when it comes to samurai, especially since the lines represent different eras, and it is much more obvious in the more elaborate armor.

Very nice job and excellent effort put into the research!
Kudos to your missus for helping you out!
Have you considered using War and Conquest for mass battles?
It's the route I'm taking.

@ Capt Flash,

I'm not familiar with those rules – I'll have to check them out. I managed to pick up Taiko! at the local shop, but haven't given it a go yet.
