Missed this one

I think the Libyans missed all of them. wink

Nice work. The VF-41 markings on the tail are decals?

Beautiful! Custom decals?

CAG 1930 Aug 2013 11:10 a.m. PST

Hi yes all the decals on this one are home made. I think the grey could do with being a shade darker but as I only have these two I probably won't do much more.

The VF-41 ace is a normal font symbol overlaid with a white letter font and a red line placed behind them then grouped together and relies on the gull grey to show through. Probably could have put a dot of white paint on the tail to show through the decal.

My HP PSC1317 printer seems to have sorted it self out but still a problem with crazing on black occasionally

The USN LONGBEACH font has more than paid for itself in the last couple of years and would recommend that and the USAF AMARILLO one to any gamer thinking of making their own

Those look great!

No doubt, the Libyans will be less pleased about their appearance.
