Is the supplement just for the Six Day War? That would be odd as the Yom Kippur War six years later is vastly more interesting. |

I somewhat suspect they selected the Six Day War because that particular war included many WWII vehicles as well as modern vehicles that Battlefront is now making. There are some interesting battles in the Six Day War when one digs down a bit and beyond what ugda Sharon did. At least for a free supplement to "whet the appetite" for gamers it can be interesting. They're probably holding back on '56 and '73 as those are supplements people will pay for if this release proves popular. |

Well, the Six Day war allows BF to start a new range for the cost of printing new boxes for old products. They can move on to retooling, new tooling if it bites. In addition, 1967 was an outstanding Israeli victory but not quite the uninteresting walkover it is usually thought of. Just look at the Jordanian front

Korea and the war of '56 might be next. Lots of ex-WW2 stuff, plus other nations in Korea and the British and French in Egypt. |
