Hi,

A good friend of mine and gaming buddy has moved with his family to Erie, PA and I want to help him out in finding a gaming group he can hook up with. Are there any or any individuals looking to have someone to game with?

Thanks.

Places to check out

Gateway Comics and Games
Above and Beyond Comics
Books Galore
There are usually flyers, the first two have multiple gaming tables with several different games running through the week.

I'm about 30 minutes south of Erie, rarely get in any gaming though. There is also Gold Star Anime in Edinboro, they mostly cater to the magic crowd though. I am not a huge fan of any of the stores in the area though.
He can email me at
the faceless king at gmail.com
I can probably squeeze something in or meet him somewhere if we happen to have similar interests.

There's a group in Ligonier, PA. Little bit of a drive.

Yeah, Ligonier is going to be a haul. The group at Legions is a little closer, and right off of 79. They seem to have a lot of stuff going on there. legionsgames.com

I have a good friend who lives and wargames in Erie. I will pass your question on to him. I know he plays 25mm ACW.

Rxpjks1,

That would be perfect. My friend loves ACW!

Ghost6, here, RXPJKS1's buddy. Yeah….I paint ACW everyday. Historical gamers in Erie have a Yahoo Group called "Misery Bay Gamerrs" that he can join. I just did a poll on what our members had on the paint desk and the answers included:

FoW Vietnam
WW2 Check Your Six
ACW
AWI
French Foreign Legion

So, you see, its a pretty good mix. Additionally, at Gateway you will find Dystopian Wars, FoW WW2, 40k and the like.

Thanks Ghost6. Finding Garland a new gaming home was a priority.

He enjoys those other periods as well. I will pass along the info. If you connect up he will be a good positive for your group. We are going to miss him.

Garland??? I didn't know it was him!! Lose the email!

Just kidding, I don't know him.
