My lovely significant other loves to paint figures of civilian women in pretty, and very quite often detailed dresses. Alas, there isn't the huge selection of women in ballgowns that there is of say, Napoleonic French. I have (or rather had) a few such figures but she's mostly finished painting them up. Can anyone list sources for civilian women in dresses? Less useful, but still potentially good would be men in civilian formal wear and any animals that fall under the heading of adorable. Scale is largely irrelevant. |

Foundry has some lovely Victoriana figures that ate fun to paint including men and women in formal wears. Some animals too, including a cute baby rhino. |

For cute animals, try Reaper's line of 'familiars'. Ok, some packs have toads and baby dragons, but also cats and such. I love Splintered Lights's mice and other critters in their splintered lands line. Reaper also does anthropomophic mice. |

Darksword Miniatures has many medieval dressed females, especially in its George Martin-range. Expensive but of unsurpassed quality. |

Laughing Monk (used? to be available thru' Shadow Forge) has some lovely ladies in 'fancy dress' as well as ShadowForge's own line of fantastic females. You might also look at the 'Malifaux' line of figures for non-historical fancy dress. There are males in both lines but the ladies are much fancier IMHO. |

The company's name is Kit Krazy and they are located in England – you might be able to find these or similar elsewhere too? |
