Recently, I started a SAGA project in 15mm:

Anyone else who plays SAGA in 15mm?

Cheers,
Thomas

Very nice. I was thinking about 15mm

I am painting the figs for it. And Dux Brittaniarum as well.

I've been doing Saga and Dux Brit in 15mm for a while. Storage space is at a premium in my condo, but I have to say I think it would be more visually interesting and 'epic' if I had done it in 28mm. The figures I have are really nice, but it doesn't feel as cinematic when the figures are that small, at least when you're using that few of them.

I've been eyeing up the new Peter Pig 15mm Vikings range, but I'm not sure about playing Saga.

Yes, 15mm all the way for me. You do miss a little in the way of epic feel, but the savings in time, money and space more than make up for it as far as I am concerned.

Like you, I'm using Khurasan miniatures, with some Splintered Light stuff thrown in too. So far I have Vikings, Anglo Saxons and Danes, and Normans. Hoping that Peter Pig come out with some Welsh for their range.

Excellent idea.

Nice terrain too!

Thanks for the comments! I have to say I don't feel like I miss out on the 'epic' feeling, but I guess I am a 15mm person ;-)

blacksoilbill, how do the Splintered Lights miniatures compare to the Khurasan size-wise? From the images, I thought they might be too large.

Cheers,
t.

I have had several requests from clients to do pre-sorted SAGA Warbands in 15mm. We have mainly used Old Glory 15s.
Nelson Time Portal.

Here's some pics of Blacksoilbill's game of 15mm Saga at the Brisbane muster last year, the ravens were an especially great idea.

Hi bill :-)

Cheers Andy

Wow that is beautiful! Where did you get the ravens from?
Btw, found some pictures of Khurasan vs. Splintered Light, they seem to fit fine.

Cheers,
t.

Captain,

Here are my pictures of Khurasan and Splintered Light – Khurasan are a littler bigger, but a fine fit I reckon! TMP link

The ravens are from Splintered Light: link

Edit: thanks for the advertising, Andy!

Do people play with 1/2 of everything then? 2x2 table and 1/2 distances?
