A number of you have written, suggesting that TMP should volunteer to provide space for the flags collection at Warflag (which is closing). I've been in communication with Ian at Warflag. He also has several other offers. Ian is currently talking with his contributors to find out what their needs are. |

That would be a great service, Bill. |

I'm glad to hear that Ian is in discussion to move the flags off-site. It is very good to hear that they won't just disappear into the ether. Thanks for the update, Bill. |

Great to hear. I already have downloaded all the files. But keeping everything alive is a good idea. John |

Aye, good thing we live in an age where we have the ability to store information indefinitely. Kudos to Bill once again for going above and beyond the call of duty. John Coviello Owner/Public Relations Manager Little Shop of Magic

For the future members it would be a great service, and for some of us who can't stop expanding our 'toy collection'. If unable to get it at TMP maybe a link to where they end up! |

Dear Bill, and all the others who offered to assist with hosting Warflag. The main reason I had decided to stop doing Warflag was that I hadn’t had time to work on the site for about a year and I have spent more time gaming in the last few years. I used to live in a very rural part of Oregon and gamed about 6 –10 times a year and had a lot of time for working on the site. I moved to Salem Oregon and now I am able to game twice or 3 times a month, reviving my interest in expanding armies – giving me less time for the website. I have recently completed a 2-year project to game The Battle of Blenhiem in its 300th year anniversary, in 25mm with all the battalions and squadrons in play. I am now embarking on a similar project for Ramillies_2006. This has left me, and will continue to leave me short of time to work on the website and I thought just letting it go would be the easiest. The main obstacle in giving the site to someone else to host was that many of the flags are drawn by contributors, a number of which didn’t want the flags given out – something that is completely understandable. Now that hosting a high bandwidth site is many fold cheaper than it was a few years a go – I decided on the less selfish course to just keep the site up, even though I may not find the time to work on it for a time. My apologies to anyone I didn’t reply to in person – but I got far more emails and offers for assistance than I would have imagined. Regards to all Ian Croxall Salem, OR. |

Ian I know the issue with contributers etc, it would be sad to see such a re source go down especially a free one. We at Lancashire Games already have free rules, flags etc on our site, can we help in some way even if only in part, email me at allan@lancashiregames.com |

Despite the above I notice that the Warflag site has recently disappeared. Maybe a temporary glitch? |
