Now Available and returning from a long time away is this fantastic 28mm American Civil War range, made and produced here in Australia. They were once called Mark Fenlon Miniatures but have since been passed onto the great Victor Perry and renamed 'Adventure Miniatures'.

Now available are a small amount of codes, however Victor is working hard to produce more figures for this outstanding range.

They look pretty good – very animated poses, be great for skirmish figures. How do they stack up size wise against Perry plastics I wonder? Anatomically they certainly look good…

Sparker,

Thanks for having a look at the new range, in regards to how they may stack up I think they will fit in ok. They are however a little thiner then the plastics but the detail and animation if there for sure. When I get a change I will place up a couple of images for comparison. I lnow who will know and that is Matt Williamson from Gouldburn NSW, a few of the lads he games with have large collections of this range.

Nathan

Thanks Nathan. I guess you'll be bringing some of these to MOAB – will have a closer look then if I may.

Nathan Vinson15 Aug 2013 7:47 p.m. PST

Yes Mate I will hopefully have a few more to add to the range for MOAB.

All the best

Nathan

They look pretty close to Sash and Saber for size?

Any plans for a UK stockist?

Lord Raglan,

I don't think Victor has anybody in mind as yet but I am sure if he was asked or approached he would not have to many dramas.

Mate if you have a few more then I would be quite keen on more 'bog standard' (i.e. non Zouave) skirmishing poses…To be honest I have more than enough 'line' troops from the Perry plastics, but some more of these dynamic firing and 'watch and shoot' poses to brighten up the skirmish line would be great…

Sparker,

After talking again to Victor he provided the above images of the firing line range for both Union and Confederate. I have placed a new order in for this range, but Victor has to order a little more metal before casting.

A superb range that has been too long in the cupboard, the horses are exceptional quality!

I hope victor gets the dismounted cavalry done soon!

cheers
Matt

Indeed a great range Matt, thanks for making the comment. Victor has been working hard on a few more additions, which hopefully he will be able to show and release over the next few months.

The figures look good but a figure comparison would help also, are the figures going to have future releases in larger regiment size. Are the figures going to be distributed in the US.
