I have a problem
i started collecting the GW Space Fleet ships many years ago and in my time I have amassed a large collection. In fact I have every figure produced fro the game, except for one. The Deathburner Kraken. Not only have I scoured Ebay and other sites for it, I have posted ads, but nothing. I can't even find a picture of one- except for the one detailed in the White Dwarf (along with stats). Did GW produce this figure? Was it ever for sale? An obsessive compulsive needs to know

I sold my Tyranid ships off years ago (2001?). I had at least one of each, EXCEPT that one. Coincidence
? |

That's the one Gypsy Comet. Rabban- it is crazy isn't it
. I have found at least one of each ship ( I own one Ramsmiter Kraken, another rare find). I can't find pictures of anyone that actually has one. I have'nt seen one in the White Dwarf magazine back page catalogs either. I guess I am trying to know if: 1. They were actually produced 2. Someone out there somewhere has one. 3. Should I just give up and say ces't la vie. |

I've seen it in person – it did exist, and was sold in blisters in stores in the US at one point. Never owned one myself, though. Good luck on finding one, it was probably only produced in fairly small numbers (by GW standards, anyway). |

They defintely were produced. I had 4 of them back in the day. but my Tyranid fleet was sold off a long time ago. As with CLR mine were bought in the USA. |

I swear if I ever find one I am painting it white
. going to call it Moby Dick or something. |

If you haven't done so already, you should sign up for the Collecting Citadel Miniatures yahoo group/email list and ask there. Good luck! w. |

LOL Back in the 80's the local shops selling GW Space Fleet had trouble shifting it – most GW players were Orks or Marines and had no interest in spaceships, and the 'Vacc-heads' were all into SFB or Starfire if they even existed ( I was starting on Full Thrust, but that's just me . . . ). Anyway, the last minis still sitting on shelves were these the Death-burners . . . I think the lowest price they went was NZD2.50 a twin blister. No idea where you'd find any now – most of the local ones probably got converted to fishing weights at that price. |

Mostly 2nd Generation Tyranids on eBay at the moment, or the occasional Citadel/1st Edition at a ridiculous price. . . . Will keep an eye out for you though :) |

If I could come up with something like that, I'd never buy from anyone else again… REALLY nice for the monster. Doug |
