Is the third book in his trilogy of histories of the Royal Navy by N.A.M Rodgers.

After the magisterial The Command of the Ocean I'm looking forward to this one.

While Rodgers' work is impressive, I certainly wouldn't call it "magisterial". His overbearing dismissive attitude for anything and anyone not Royal Navy deeply flaws an otherwise good work. I shudder to consider what he'll do with WWII.
