Just recently received my copy of BF&S and am very pleased with it. I was a little concerned with potential translation and editing issues but on a first read through found very few issues. Keen to work out the requirements for a Polish Division pre-1660 I immediately went to the army lists. Both the Polish Cavalry Regiment and the Elite Polish Cavalry Regiment seem to allow a unit of Pancerni and Cossacks to be upgraded with the addition of a spear. However, the lists then mention Skirmish Forces with a strength of more than 10. Surely this is a typo and should read "Regiment has more than 10 Strength Points", or something along that line. Is that correct? I assume the reference to Skirmish Force is a cut and paste error from the "Polish Skirmish Force". Any help/comments would be most welcome. Cheers Kent |

Unfortunately gremlins attacked again and pass through guards of our proof reading team :) Of course in both regiments it should be: 'If the Regiment has 10 or more FSP
'. Also Polish Cavalry Regiment from p. 226 should be with note of 1650-66 period not with 1660-66. Best regards Michal Paradowski By Fire and Sword team |

Thanks Michal. That's what I thought and just wanted to be sure. Otherwise, great product with very few other issues. Busy building my forces for the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth. Kent |

Even with hours and hours that proof reading team spend locked in our cellars
I mean office
working on checking whole book over and over there may be few things that we've missed. Apologise for that, hopefully that will not be a problem when trying to understand rules :) If there's any question please to do not hesitate to ask here, on our FB or forum. Will You be building Polish or Lithuanian force? Best regards Michal Paradowski By Fire and Sword team |
