As editor of the History of Wargaming Project, I am privileged to receive collections of wargaming books, rules, magazines, unpublished wargaming material and recollections from early wargamers on a regular basis. Recently, I received a particularly interesting letter centred around Lionel Tarr from an early wargamer (David T. Bradley). The letter is reproduced on my blog. wargamingco.blogspot.co.uk As for me. I was pleased to get Operation Warboard back into print and a new lost book about wargaming Commando Operations by Don Featherstone. John wargaming.co |

If anyone in the UK is going to Colours on Saturday 14th Sept, you can find me running the Fletcher Pratt participation naval game. I will be running it with naval wargaming book author Phil Dunn. |
