Wasn't this originally a Kickstarter? Still acquiring funding?

They all appear to be 'pre-order'.

What scale? I looked but diod not see one. At $15 USD a figure way out of my range no matter how good they are.

I have to echo Badger; couldn't find any scale mentioned on their website. Aha, it was a KS, and they are 35mm, and a scale creep too far for me.

The body proportions are bad, the poses are stiff, and they look stupid, so the insanely high price really doesn't subtract anything.

"The body proportions are bad, the poses are stiff, and they look stupid, so the insanely high price really doesn't subtract anything."

Thank you for your summary judgment your majesty. Obviously you are the self-proclaimed purveyor of taste for all of humanity.

I'm really disappointed these figures are 35mm, because I've been looking for some Wild West figures with a steampunk aesthetic, but in something closer to 28mm. So count me as one customer they could have had if they had used some better business sense.

I concur with the "The body proportions are bad, the poses are stiff, and they look stupid, so the insanely high price really doesn't subtract anything." There useless!

And why in 35mm? Most of the humans that game Wild West/Old West on this earth, game in 28mm.

Why start something that most gamers will not use!

PS If that makes me a "self-proclaimed purveyor of taste for all of humanity."

So be it.

Well, they do not say if that is to the top of the head or to the eyes…
I have e-mailed them for clarification a few weeks ago, but no response yet…
I will buy the rules and use my 28mm figs. It looks like fun to me.

You can pick up the Beta rules right now, for free: wildwestexodus.com/the-game

I'm sure the rules are fine. But the decision to use a scale not really compatible with anything of that genre just doesn't make any sense.

Not a fan of the sculpts, no matter the size.

Odd, I thought we where all still allowed opinions of our own on TMP, be they positive negative or in the middle.

I dont find the poses all that objectionable, but certainly respect the right of ChickLewis to not like them. On the other hand as soon as I saw the price I stopped looking at them all that much anyway.

35mm? That is a deal breaker right there. I have no desire to try to find a set of 35mm buildings to go with them.

The concept, detail and design really interests me. The price, scale and lack of life to the figures doe not.

I see the same problem with most organic sculpts done on the computer. No matter how detailed or interesting, they just don't have any real life to them. That will probably change as more sculptors start designing with the computer. But for now give life forms sculpted by hand, warts and all.
