already pledged at the buckets of blood level – bring on the Weird WWII Zombie apocalypse!

McWong7331 Jul 2013 10:33 p.m. PST

I think this is going to be pretty big.

Maddaz11101 Aug 2013 3:46 a.m. PST

oh dear, How big are these miniatures?

(if they are 28mm – and not huge 28mm I will probably buy it)

Can see this as being another huge game – although I would want a more realistic enemy than hundreds of Zeds…

What is it with apes in this genre?

MacrossMartin01 Aug 2013 5:19 a.m. PST

That's so the allied characters can call some bad guy "You lousy Nazi ape!" and be 100% accurate. :D

Cherno01 Aug 2013 5:23 a.m. PST

For some reason, giant monstrous apes were boss in this period, undoubtly influenced by King Kong's success. I once read that one major comic publisher of the 40s even had to limit the number of comic issue covers that could have an ape (menacing a white woman of course) on it, so big was their popularity.

I heard that the plastic versions are a bit smaller than the original metals.

I'd like to see a side by side comparison, as I have all the metal figures to date.

axabrax01 Aug 2013 6:32 a.m. PST

I'd like to see some close ups of the models. All the pics are just far enough away that I can't quite make out the detail.

This is not through Cool mini is it?

Deal Breaker if it is.

From the kickstarter comments

Plastics will be 5% smaller than metals. It's the molding process

No nothing to do with cool mini

I'll sit on the side till it hits a few stretches, and for better pics.

Im in I saw it 2 days ago and just could not pass on it. Hopefully I will be back in Scotia NY and have people to play it when it shows up. :)

BrotherSevej02 Aug 2013 1:15 a.m. PST

It's Grindhouse. Much smaller outfit than CMON.

I am a bit confused by their add-ons. Are all the Add-on figures metal to replace the plastic versions that come in the Buckets of blood level?

sma194105 Aug 2013 8:00 a.m. PST

Not impressed with the freebie unlocks – a plastic figure or two. Maybe they have some better unlocks at higher levels they haven't posted yet.

Fill me in on the CMON-deal-breaker reference, somebody, please?
