Hello Gang
I have a fantasy campaign going on that has a mix of steam punk with in it. More or less resembles the classic PC game Arcanum. Any how I am looking for a steam punk mech. Now I know there are a ton of Mech miniatures out there but I have yet to find one that would fit into a steam punk world. Even a "power suit" world work. Any suggestions would be great!

Would any of the Warmachine hulks do? I've seen folks use them as Titans in Epic 40K armies.

You might want to check out the plastic ork killa cans and deth dreads from GW. They are plastic so you can do a lot of conversions to make just what you are looking for. Also they have a lot of rivets and metal plates which gives them a nice steampunk look to them.

While the dread itself may seem pricey the kans are quite reasonable at about $15 USD each retail.

Warmachine would be my fist thought. Also check the list of figures in the Bioshock Heroclix set.

Antimater has a lot of cool stuff in the Deep Wars line.

War Machine's been mentioned, might also try some of the Mage Knight golems.

Try e-baying for the Iron giant movie VHS toy give away. It
about 3 28mm figures tall and a awesome bot.

The Killa Cans are cool but doesn't fit into the world very well. The BioShock miniatures look very close to what I need. I could always repaint them.

In case anyone wants to know what they look like, I think these are the ones:

Really spindly arms.

Not so much automaton but a suit one would put on. Think of that thing that Ripley wore at the end of Aliens. I was thinking of something along those ends. The Bioshock miniatures come close as do those steam boy figures but they are a tad big.

How about some of the large infantry models in Warmachine? The ones on 40mm bases, such as Khadoran Man-o-Wars or the Cygnaran Warcaster E. Dominic Darius.

Bit bonkers but has potential.

You hit it right on the head street line. That world work perfect. I wonder if there is anything I can do to make it a bit.more steam punk.

Also check out the stuff Armorcast has to offer.

Wow that's fantastic Richard! An I would pick up stuff at Amorcast but I had an issue with them in the past due to very poor customer service so I won't buy from them again. Its a pity because I really like their line up but I don't deal with that head ache again even if it was a fluke.
