Does anyone manufacture any SF (or other kind, for that matter) weapon cases, racks or lockers with no weapons in them? I wish to have cases with weapons that match my collection, and all the weapon storage solutions in 28mm I have found are full of weapons, which are not sold separately, leading to armouries full of weapons you cannot put on the figures and figures wielding weapons that don't seem to have come from the armouries.
I am currently trying to make a wall of weapons with plastic sheet, but wonder if there is anything more convenient out there.

Some of the "movies" gun racks are just plain walls with hooks for the weapons, like so:

At 28mm scale, you can pretty much get away with gluing your weapons onto a fine textured surface, painted the appropriate sci-fi grey.

For a more "rustic" look, glue two or three strips of plasticard painted metallic before mounting the weapons, like so:

If anyone is interested here is the diorama background prototype:

What I wanted was actually a dedicated rack or case such as:

rather than just sticking things to the wall.

Sticking things to the wall is great for a store's display, but you get a lot more material in the same square footage with vertical racks.

So I got to prototyping last night and…

Most rustic; they look like they would suit a hillbilly shack or post apocalyptic warlord fortress, need some sanding, trimming and filing etc. but I believe they prove the concept sound. Sized for a more plausible style weapon such as made by Hasslefree.
