This looks really interesting.

I believe there's a blog site – From Waterloo to Mons – the author has a section dedicated to the Schlesweig Holstein wars, pretty cool.

Best,

Peter

This looks fantastic! Ironically, I was just wondering last night if any movies or shows were made on the wars of German unification. I have 10mm armies for the First Schleswig War, the 2nd looks tempting too!

Come to Colours 14-15th Sept in Reading, UK. There will be an 1866 game by Bruce Weigle which is part of the whole 1859-1871 period which is a fascinating period to dabble with.

the book Bismarcks war is excellent, and I have gamed many times with "Bruce Weigel", gentleman gamer, and very authoritive on the matter. His rule books are reference books as well a must for the period. His terrain boards are exact replicas of the battlefields. He also has a 1870 yahoo group.
