Do you know of any haunting music to play in the background to improve the atmosphere for Lovecraft inspired games like Strange Aeons and Call of Cthulhu? |

Anything from Nox Arcana noxarcana.com and Midnight Syndicate midnightsyndicate.com .Also Alex Otterlei – Horror On the Orient Express link is a good cd.
Also most John Carpenter's cds work well.

I'd recommend a perusal of the instrumental music of Gyorgi Ligeti, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Krzystok Penderecki. Youtube's got a bunch. Also, I find twenties swing jazz and gypsy jazz like Django Reinhardt really sets the mood. |

A favourite is the Vangelis album "Mask". Multi-part keyboards and synthesisers but very chilling and exotic throughout. I've used it in CoC games before and it's worked. |

Coal Chamber, Sepultura, John Zorn, Webern, Stravinksi. Also, Mylie Cyrus and Justin Bieber
nothing creates chills down my spine like that. |

I would suggest a band called Delerium, its from the new age era but has a mysterious and arcane feel. |

Another vote for the H.P. Lovecraft historical society's music to Call of Cthulhu. Normally I'd prefer orchestral but this really worked. |
