I love Historicon. I've chased it all over the eastern seaboard it seems. There's no doubt in my mind that it was smaller this year -- both in terms of attendees and vendors. It's still better (from a material standpoint) than Christmas has any hope of being for me.

I started doing these a couple years ago, but am debating a different technology…then again, I really don't want to be "that guy with a camera yelling in a corner" overmuch.

Very Best,

I enjoyed that! Certainly gave me a 'you are there' feel.

Thanks,

John

Certainly does give you the "you are there" feel. Could barely understand a word that anyone was saying! Uneven sound quality, but great filming, and video quality. Thanks for the video since I couldn't be there this year.

To be fair, it was near impossible to hear game masters in the Main Exhibit Halls and I had three games in there. Even shouting could be barely heard. The games hosted in ballrooms A-F were much quieter and easier to understand, even with "game" noise and commotions.

Thanks for shooting the ideo, gives you an understanding why noise level appears so often in any mention of the new venue.

I really enjoyed your videos. Thanks for sharing. Maybe look into a clip on mic as that might make it easier to hear your on the spot narration, though it may override the camera mic.

And yes, I know some of those guys!
