My 6mm scifi force using GHQ models can now be fielded as a self contained force with the addition of the infantry and heavy armor components. The infantry are GHQ modern US infantry used as-is, while the tanks are Leopard 2A6 with very minor modifications, namely the comm-link / data-link antenna dome on the front left turret roof. BTW I do like the look of infantry based line abreast on a 40mm wide base. Epic 40k style.

Very impressive miniatures.

The Leopard 2 A6's are some of the best proxies for "near Future" or "now" sci-fi.

It's all about the wedge turret.

Thank you for sharing

What rules are you planning to use?

Are you using a template to paint the camouflage? It's remarkably uniform from tank to tank.

No template, I just use the 1st tank I painted as a reference. My camouflage pattern uses straight edged geometric shapes – I took the idea from the dazzle camouflage patterns on WW2 US navy ships. This makes the pattern easy to follow from vehicle to vehicle.

I'm doing something similiar in 3mm…

Nice army! it's just a shame that for me I find some of the GHQ stuff too small.

They do some lovely models, that would work well for me. But they look a little out of scale with the rest of my stuff.
