When I got two models from Gaming Models a whuile back, the turrets were loose in the box. So, I put both 45mm turrets in front, and the MG turrets in back. It seemed a bit crowded, but I gave it no thought. Then, I got the new FoW book and saw that the T-35 models in the pictures had the 45mm turrets in bow port and stern starboard positions, to follow the "Land Battleship" theme. The rules do not specify, from what I can see. This is such a bizarre and unique tank, I can see how such a rule might fall through the cracks. Is the picture in "Rising sun" correct? |

The offset layout is standard with the gun turret to the right and the MG turret left in both directions.

John, The turret arrangement is indeed one 45mm and one mg turret in front and the same in back. Here are some pictures to illustrate link Hope this helps, Tom |

the arrangement is: front right is a 45mm gun turret, front left is a machine gun turret, back right is another machine gun turret back left is another 45mm gun turret. |

The 45mm turrets on bow starboard and stern port. That would at least be the configuration used in real life. Plenty of reference pictures on the internet. And yes, it's a bizarre and unique tank. Got two of them for my 28mm early Soviet army. Oh yea. |

Thanks for clarifying for me. I am saving my aluminum cans to cash in for a bunch more of the Gaming Models ones. I shall smite my enemies. I love pre-Dreadnought turret arrangements. Maybe now they will fit. |

I'm curious where they stored all the ammunition in that beast. |

> I'm curious where they stored all the ammunition in that beast. Anything beyond walking distance would be a waste. (OH, IN the tank). Did one ever get used as anything but a pillbox anyway? |

The ammo was kept in one of the sub-basements and brought up through the freight elevator, located between the kitchens and the swimming pool and tennis courts area. |
