Does anyone know where I might be able to find a 28-32 mm scale chimera of the classic variety? By classic I mean a giant lion with a goat's head on its back and a snake tail, no wings and no dragon head.

You should take a look at Relic Miniatures' Chimera, here:

Those are the kinds of chimera I'm looking for, but are there any that are bigger? Actually, even ones with wings would be fine, as long as they don't have the dragon head. If anything I can always remove the wings.

Both very nice. Would like to get one myself.
I kinda like this look for myself, its more bestial;

My second Nemian Lion pose is of the one above. I will convert it to Chimera as well.

Everybody has their own vision of what they want it to look like. I find the same goes for elephants as well. Even size wise…

Look at medusa, she's supposed to have a wide face and winged, not a serpents body.

Your probably better off in finding a lion of a size you like and adding your own to it by conversion.

Good luck finding your vision.

Yea, I'm thinking that converting is probably the way to go. It shouldn't be too hard to find a giant lion, and I have a snake I can replace it's tail with. The trick is going to be finding the goat's head and figuring out how to add it to the lion's back.
