As for Anchors…….If anyone out there has any reasonable ideas about how to make decent anchors, I would really appreciate hearing them. The last half dozen GHQ ships I bought did not have any (and that's the main reason I bought them, to get the extra anchors.) I don't know if they have stopped supplying them or what. Of course I bought them from Warweb.com Grandiosity instead of direct from GHQ, that may be the problem.

Regards,
Vol

Get 6mm crossbowmen and relieve them of their bows?

Volunteer Fezian22 Jul 2013 2:37 p.m. PST

Hmm… not bad Jeff. Thanks. Don't have any 6mm at the moment though.

Anyone have any other ideas?

GHQ will sell parts from their kits.

If the anchors come on a sprue then the price is per sprue, if separate then per piece.

Email them for prices of course.

If they weren't in the packages, they should provide replacements at no charge.

Can you squash mould one off one you already have? I'd guess anchors are fairly easy…Rob.

Rob,
one off moulding isn't ethical is it?

Mako11,
Since I bought the packs from Warweb and not GHQ I didn't contact GHQ about it. Contacting Warweb is problematic at best. I had a lot of trouble just getting my order after they charged my CC. It was 3 months.

dragon6,
That's the best idea so far. I didn't know GHQ would do this since the separate parts aren't listed on their site.
Thanks. I will contact them.

Warweb doesn't package them, as far as I know.

Send them an e-mail, explaining the situation.

GHQ are usually very good about standing behind their products, so will probably send them to you for free. They may even be aware of the problem.

If not, it will alert them to check their packaging a bit better going forward.

I wrote GHQ and they say they will sell the anchor sprues for $1.75 USD. Problem solved. Thanks everyone.
