I added two Prussian Reserve Regiments to my 1813 Prussians, wearing British supplied uniforms (Old Glory 28mm, 1st edition). They add a bit of color to the otherwise somewhat drab Prussian uniforms of this period:

They were just finished Wednesday AM, and needed for my Dresden game at Huistoricon on Friday evening. The flags were added just after these pictures were taken, and the units were placed into their transport box, with the glue drying during the drive to Fredericksburg!

I really like these. I have wanted to see some decent shots of these poses – and now I know what they can look like painted. Awesome!

Nice job, (and no flags for the record but I won't tell).

They were subsequently equipped with generic "Landwehr Cross" style flags. Yes, I know the regs said no flags, but it was largely honored in the breech by the landholder, and one would suspect, the Reserve regts as well.

And if not, I'm der Koenig, und I say they WILL flags have! :-)

I have the same figures. You've done a good job. And for the record, all of my battalions have "generic" landwehr cross standards. I love the look. So I agree-- der Koenig speaks.

The very nice painting cerainly helped with these miniatures.

They're looking great.

Very nicely done.

"landwehr", nicht "landholder; sheesh!

I blame it on lack of sleep for HCon, LOL!

Peter,
Great looking uniT, and as I'm not up on late war Prussians an interesting unit.
