Yesterday I posted a Russo-Japanese War BatRep on my blog that I thought worth sharing here on TMP.

Posties Rejects not only fought The Battle of Tawan – August 1905 but also the sweltering heat inside the Shed-o-War. There were casualties (namely our dignity) but we still had a great time.

Some great photos there, Lee, as usual. Love that period thumbs up!

Love the blog and photos. I am slowly painting some figures for the period in 10mm.

Beautiful game Big Lee…Japanese look grand, love the mix of khaki and blue. Tell me, have you guys been able to find a decent range of Russians that actually have the bayonets fixed to the rifles. The thing that kept me from this period in 15mm is the small issue of bayonets, specifically those lacking on Russians by Old Glory…

Truly excellent. So very, very good.

I want to do this battle but you have set the bar so high with your wonderful game, figures, and wargame table …and photographs.

Thank you for sharing this.
