Lancaster has proved such a great area for a convention because of all the other activities they have going on. I refer of course to all the stores of an outlettery persuasion, the Amish themes etc. One of the attendees is putting together a program for the wives of the attendees (we have about 7 who regularly come) and theyve started socialing among themselves and want to do this for next year. To be fair, several of the wives do game. Not mine -- yet-- but hope springs eternal.

Yes lancaster is good for family things. My family is not into gamming. So plenty else for them to do.

Is this UK or USA ?

The US.

And shouldn't it be "non-gaming spouses"?

Otto, why do you assume that wives like to shop? evil grin

My spouse would probably spend all of her time on her cell phone instead. Phones are her addiction.

My wife usually tags along when we head to KublaCon in San Francisco. I go game and she goes out on the town.
Works for us.

QVC has a location there and my wife loves it.

Non-gamming spouses? Maybe he's referring to spouses who don't like to show off their legs.

Many of the spouses game, actually the minority don't. They just like to go out and be on their own for a while and cat about the men and compare notes.
