I was wondering if there are any websites out there, the likes of Warflag and Napflag, that have printable crusader banners and pennants? My internet connection is way too slow to search and go trough dozens of Google links to find any so I hope some of you already found some that you can share. If no such sites are out there, what commercially available banners and pennants do you suggest I use and where can I get them? Cheers Fons mmps.asia |

As long as you understand that all the banners suggested have no basis in fact. Except those which are taken from historical documents such as the Banderia Prutenorum (for the crusade of 1410). There is only one source for early crusade arms and no-one uses it. It's provenance is a bit dodgy, but oddly enough some of the arms do bear more than a passing resemblance to some of the unidentified kite shield markings in the WRG books and David Nicolle's research, which leads me to believe that it is accurate at some remove. |
