Hi guys
Some pics of my WIP 15mm Death Korps of Krieg heavy siege assault gun, which barrel do you think I should use? This is the Emhar. 1/72 Mk IV female, its already a little larger in length and width, but not hight, then the Airfix model, I have stretched and widened it, added 4 heavy flames for close support, i also left the side profile lozenge shape alone, as i had re shaped the airfix kits slightly, more pics on my blog, what do you think?

The first gun looks more IG to me

Cool!

And I agree: the first barrel looks more WWI/IG to me. The second is a bit too WWII to me.

yeah the first gun is much better -- Back when there was no land raider kit I used same type tanks for stand in -- 96 or so

I dug out some 15mm Napoleonic riders to convert to death guard after seeing yours --

40k 3.5 is my first love and only reason I started micropanzer was a lack in people playing 4th ed and now I want to play but cannot justify the cost --

A local group play 40k in 15 and keep all the ranges the same and it works – go figure

very good work. Like the change to the forward cupola. When in comparision to the "Russ"'s it looks well good in size.
Maybe a "Saukof" mantlet for the main gun? (1st gun option looks good)

Thanks guys, will go the first option.
Micropanzer – nice conversion, post the 15mm cav when your done.
Deflatormouse – yeah, I will try to sculpt a mantelet.

I was thinking last night a Saukof would be out of character with IG and this vehicle. Possiblly and Henschel Konigtiger mantlet would work better?

Hi DM, I was thinking the Ferdinand/Oliphant mantlet.

That's excellent!
