I had a few of these plastic world tiles in my kit when I packed to travel to Chicago. The tiles are 1" tall tiles from this set here. The small square ones are 1" square, and the rectangular ones are 1" by 1 and 5/8":
So, with a little super glue
More pics: link I will be adding more bits when I get home, of course, but wanted to start with the living spaces first. I will try to make it more like hull plates pulled from a spaceship wreck. PDF link TMP link Dan PS. For the record, the original suggestion about using these plastic world tiles (officially called "manipulatives") came from another TMP member, Javelin98. I think this is the set he suggested: link TMP link |

Plastic 'dominoes', as in the sets used for falling domino, have been used for horse/motorcycle bases. I've tried using plastic Scrabble letters for building, but you do remember the part about being all thumbs

I've been using those for years now as bases for figures, spaced armour on AFVs, and so on
VERY handy items, those! Leland R. Erickson Metal Express metal-express.net |

Cool set, I definitely see the uses for things like crates and greebling of flat surfaces. However, for basing purposes, it seems like a better option would be to go to EM4. When it's only a $1.50 USD (1gbp) for Twenty: -20mm rounds, squares -25mm rounds orsquares (slotted or round) It's only a few pennies saved for bases that don't have as big a recess or a tab slot.

I'm about to get some of these stanchions to make the "panels" look more as if salvaged from a ship: link link link link link link Thoughts? Dan |

Nice work, Dan! And if you want a style of stanchion you don't see, let me know and I can probably whip something up! |

Do you know if the yellow hex tiles can have the red romboid fit together as walls (with the yellow hex tile roof)? Is this clear? To make like a hut? |
