Not most "collected" or most "owned", the actual army you have spent the most time researching (books, online, etc…)?

Mine:
1) Sengoku (1487-1615) Samurai,
2) WWII Germans (all theaters),
3) War of the Roses (all campaigns),
4) WWII US & British Airborne,
5) Franco-Prussian War (both sides).

Jovian101 Jul 2013 11:49 a.m. PST

1) Mongols (entire period from Chingis/Genghis Khan through the Golden Horde, Kubilai/Chinese and Mogul dynasties).

2) German WWII forces (mainly early war 1940 France through 1942).

3) French armies from 1615 through 1763.

4) Burgundian army through the death of Charles the Bold.

5) American Civil War – graduate level course work on the subject and extensive reading, but no interest in actually gaming the period – too needlessly bloody and the uniforms (and lack thereof in some cases) don't do anything to inspire me to paint them.

OK, for me -

1) Royalists
2) Parliamentarians/New Model/Commonwealth & Protectorate
3) Napoleonic Russians
4) Scots Covenanters
5) Montrose

I'm also trying to learn a bit more about the Irish Confederate Wars, but it isn't particularly straightforward!
