Since I have been unable to pick up any A-Wings yet with moving and a general lack of availability I have been day dreaming about other paint schemes. It struck me today while watching the news that I could do a series on the Seven main teams in the series. Anglerfish Team
Turtle Team
Duck Team
Rabbit Team
Mallard Team
Anteater Team
Leopon Team The A Wing is a very likely candidate for these modifications based on the fact no self-respecting X-Wing pilot would be caught dead in one. And lets face it you are NEVER going to see an Imperial Star fighter in anything but WWII German Blue Gray.

So I have seen some other paint schemes for various ships but what do you all think of the amalgamation of the Girls und Panzer and X-Wing series?

Just started watching Girls und Panzer--serious industrial strength brain bleach needed--but I'll be watching ep IV tonight. For X-Wing I kinda like the yellow. |

The overt levels of sexual innuendoe and such in anime is reaching all-time levels. It is really out of control, IMHO. |

Funny my wife who is Asian watches amime all the time along with most of her girlfriends. They do not see the sexual innuendoes at all. Maybe some repressed sexual dysfunction in the West that manifest itself in perversion of the core story line? FWIW I think some of the girls are hot. So what. Before I saw the tanks I did not even know they were school girls. I was impressed by the off topic colours of the tanks and after seeing some A-Wing paint jobs I thought the colour scheme would be cool. VR

i find the whole concept repulsive… You do realize that the series writer/IP holder has said in "do it and you're fired" terms that there will be NO low angles/upskirts in this series. It's safer than Sailor Moon. |
