I've just finished sorting out my organisation and lead pile for 15th Panzer Division, at 1:5 scale, for Operation Crusader 1941. Here is a link to my blog post explaining why I've done it this way. But the question is, if you were playing a game at my place, could you swallow this much fudge? link
Here is a photo of some fudge in action

It doens't sound like too much fudge to me, but then I have a sweet tooth. A nice set-up and lovely models helps the digestion, of course. More importantly, you've thought about the issues and have come to a solution, rather than blindly following a prescription. Incidently, would you expect that the MMG platoon would fire whilt mounted in real life? If they did so both the MMGs and their transport would be much more visible than if they dismounted.

I am impressed with the attention to detail and amount of work you have put into this. Good job! I wish I could participate with you but living in the desert southwest I suspect I am far, far from your place. |

Given the scale of representation, this seems to me like a very light fudge coating indeed. Specifically mentioning the minor fudges used gets extra credit. All the nest, John. |

Looks OK to me. Should fight like an actual Pzr Div. and that's whoa really matters, I think. |

Bit of a detour – what is the chain for? |

Bit of a detour – what is the chain for? I'm guessing that it's an area-terrain edge marker, since a loop of chain seems to surround a group of hills. But the question is, if you were playing a game at my place, could you swallow this much fudge? That doesn't sound like a fudge to me at all. Just a light drizzle of dark chocolate, to add some flavor. I'm not used to that scale of gaming, but I wouldn't have any issues playing that TO&E at all. Though I would almost certainly need those deployed MG stands! |

Yep, edge marker. In this for an area where hull down might be sought – you roll your 'other difficulty dice' to find a hull down after movement here. |

Thanks for the answer on the chain, I like how it looks – not too intrusive. Your breakdown for why decisions were made look good to me. |

Mate, your game, your scenario, your place. So long as you've explained the logic, which you have, I would not presume to question any aspect of the scenario or rules you have organised, I would just be grateful for the opportunity to play in a well organised, well presented game
. However, from personal experience, I am in a minority! |

Does this fudge come in coffee flavour? |

Looks good to me. Ultimately, the answer to the question comes down to the ratio of vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream available. If done in the right proportions, I can see being able to swallow a lot of it. |

As others have said, it is your game and your scenario, so do what you like. Personally, the amalgamated MG stands and recce platoons are fine (I do the latter myself). I'm not sure I could bear inventing an extra panzer company in the battalion TO&E though and I'd fudge their inclusion in the light and medium panzer company organisation, even if it is just to tag along as extra targets and give the British a nice warm feeling when they blow up. If taking a hit instead of a Pz III/IV isn't flank protection, I don't know what is:) A different kind of fudge. |
