AFV? as in Armored Fighting Vehicle?

I thought an M109 was an SPA, or Self Propelled Artillery.

Well, it is armored, and throwing artillery shells at the enemy falls under the broad heading of fighting, so … wink

Nice paint job !! Yes, it's an SPA but in the big picture it is an AFV … evil grin And yes, it was not used in The 6 Day War in '67 … link
