Hi folks.

Well I'm interested in building a Brotherhood of NOD force in 15mm, I have designs for a few different types of units, and know how I'll be able to fit a decent force composition in place. It'll be a mix of TW1, TW2 and some limited TW3 units.

However, I have one major issue – the infantry.

The 'line' NOD soldier has a distinct appearance:

Now I'm wondering what I could possibly use to get that image across? I know I could run with some other rabble like the Sahadeen if I wanted to use the 'Militia' pathway from TW3, but I'd prefer a more organised looking force.

My current plan is to use Firestorm Invasion: Conquest 15mm Dindrenzi… but they seem a way off yet, although they at least have the unique helmet (if it is a little elongated).

Would anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to keep nearer the 'sinister' appearance if possible, and similar weapons if possible.

Thanks for any assistance!

Rebel Minis Earth Force Marines might do the trick if painted properly.

They look pretty close to me!

The Venturans certainly look the part mask wise! Although I am a little concerned with the lack of poses and weapons. I'm quietly thinking a headswap with some sort of Rebel Minis soldiers (either sci-fi, or maybe the PLA soldiers) could work!

Plenty of weapons variations in the Eureka troops, that's only a few of the poses. link

"And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.". Genesis 4:16

So, are you going to have a character named Cain?

You can bet your bottom dollar I will have such a charcter. Trying to find a suitably imposing, trenchcoated and bald charcter will be a bit tricky, but I'm sure I'll be able to work it out! :)

"And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch." Genesis 4:17

So, will there be a capital city by that name?

HA! Cool idea and I like the Venturians. Will check them out as well. I also am starting 15mm CnC!! lol. I got the idea when I was looking at Rebel minis. It was their sci fi motorbike unit that sparked my interest. They look close enough to the NOD bikes although the rebel minis need slight conversion for the missile packs.

Looks like you are going for the Tiberium Sun look which is cool. I chose to do the "militia" squads from the newer CnC. The Rebel minis desert sci fi militia models are perfect for this (originally I was thinking of Fremen or something but then after I saw the bikes I knew what to do!).

I did a small investment into the 15mm sci fi. Got a pack of the bikes, the rebel minis buggy to be used as buggy. Also went to some other UK based 15mm sci fi company for Cyborg infantry. I forget which one it was but they are great minis. I'm using them for the NOD cyborgs but they are originally intended to be some alien race I think.

For my GDI I just used a pack of Rebel minis, forget which but they looked close enough. Anyways, goodluck! I'm not sure what rules to use for my 15mm CnC but as for sides I was thinking something like… Tanya or the Indian commando dude to be the leader for GDI, Cyborg Commando to be NOD leader. Few squads of NOD militia and cyborgs, the 2 bikes and buggy vs few squads of GDI inf with apc and a tank. The rebel mini army packs are awesome though, you get everything you need for like 11 bucks. I bought an extra rocket Shahadeen squad for the NOD inf and an extra command squad pack for the GDI inf. I was planning on using the GDI command figures that are waving their hands as GDI grenadiers hehe.

Can't wait to see more on your army though. I'm doing some 15mm AK47 republic at the moment but then will finish my CnC. I have a good quantity of 15mm terrain now which is cool and I'm even thinking of making a few tiberium "fields" for the games too :P. One thing to keep in mind about rebel minis I have found- They are more like 18mm, not 15mm (compared to my peter pig)
