Hi guys
Command squad finished, it's pretty dark here due to being overcast, so had to use a flash and the colours are a little washed out, pretty happy with how these guys turned out, I stuffed up the gluing of the flag and it is a little off centre, couldn't fix it, so it will have to do, have added a size comparison shot with the LRs for those who wanted one, all comments welcome, more pics on my blog.

They are very impressive and the flag is not that noticeable especially at this scale, if you hadn't mentioned it i dought anyone would have noticed it. Those tanks look fantastic have you got a scheme in mind for them yet?

The mud covered body is a great touch. Anyone who has read anything about WWI will know that there were unburied corpses littering the battlefield and you really captured that kind of grimness.

On the flip side, your flag (which looks great BTW) is really really clean for such a muddy environment. I would venture to say that at a minimum it would have received splatters from nearby shell explosions, so you might want to think of dirty-ing it up a bit (not that I have the slightest clue on how to paint that up…)

Keep up the good work!

Love how your commander stands just a bit higher than the rest of the sloggers – really makes him look in command of…well, his men if not the situation.

Very nice…thank you for the comparison pics…

Thanks guys, I will dirty/damage the flag up a bit, the colour scheme for the tanks? I'm thinking German WWI helmet camo style.

Dirtying up the flag will be a good way to hide the uneven edges, too. It's win-win!
