There are many times I'd like to follow a topic but I lose it when it drops off the main page. If I had posted something in that topic, I can always search for my name and find the topic. But if I hadn't, days later sometimes the topic name eludes me and it's gone. It would be nice to be able to pin a topic to my main page. Not knowing how difficult this would be to implement, maybe a maximum of 2 topics pinned at a time per user? Thanks |

Yes, I'd also like something like that. Most useful. (I made the mistake of typing 'meh' on one occasion for the same purpose as above and found myself in the middle of a right old ding, dong for degrading the fellow's posting. No sympathy either from the 'aggrieved' once I had explained my mistake. Ho,hum – life in the fast lane) |

If you can remember the board, you can find it easy enough. Seems like a good request though

Won't happen. TMP is stuck in 1991. |

If you can remember the board, you can find it easy enough Easy enough when there werent so many specialty boards. I might remember a particular post from a WWII game but is it on the Command Decision board, the Flames of War Board etc. |

Does posting and deleting still cause a topic to show up in your author search? That is about all that would be needed, really: a button that tells the search engine "I posted here". |

@GypsyComet -- you could do that. Or just post "pin" as a message, but like Blues said, I'm sure that would draw the ire of some. |

Even though it is a compliment, right. It would clutter a discussion, which is why I suggest the other approach. |
