Of course you don't really need two units of archers but I couldn't decide which figures I liked best! So I had eastern and western :0)

Those are gorgeous. How wide are the bases the legionaries are on?

since already having acquired Aventine's western archers makes me want to acquire the eastern group as well.very nice work on the eastern archers; keep up the good work.

They are all based in fours on 60mmx30mm bases. So, rather surprisingly, given they are BIG 28mm figures, each figure has a 15mm frontage, which for the legionaries gives me the shield interlock I was looking for. Nothing gives me greater angst than deciding what size bases to use!

Agreed. It's good news that you could maintain a 4 figs on 60mm front with them.
