Inspired by the Caprice walkers from Dream Pod 9 I've been doing some kitbashing for my 6 mm VOTOMs project. Legs and gun assembly are from GZG's V15-46B Recon/Patrol Walker Drone with autocannon – turret type B, body is plasticcard, the jumpjets and cockpit are 15mm backpacks from javelin98 's Shapeways store National Cheese Emporium.
I hope to get some paint slapped on it over the weekend, then if I like what I see I've got enough parts to build a second one. |

Top man! I have just started a small 6mm conversion job/kitbash too! Great minds! The plasticard body looks neat! |

Nice conversion and a good use of parts. Shapeways is good for those bespoke bits. |

I'm not a fan of walkers generally but I like this one! The paint job is great too! |

Nice work! One query – whose is the 6mm figure( Which manufacturer) ? |

The infantry figs are GZG DSM-136 New Israeli light armoured infantry and the Mech is GZG DSM-139 AT-71 Hound Dog Infantry Walker. |

Finished some more 6mm Caprice walkers for my Heavy Gear on the cheap. ;-)
Group shot
Can't have Heavy Gear without some Stone Heads ;-) This one's made out of a beerbottle cork and some greenstuff. |

Ha Ha about the heads, too true! They have turned out rather nice my old mucker. Good paint-jobs, good job making and good bases too!
9 out of 10.

Really nice work! I'm a big fan of those Caprice walkers, but not $40 USD worth. Yours really look the part, and the price (and scale) sure is right! Well done! --am |
