Looking to see if there is a place to discuss these rules. You know, whine about problems, discuss scenarios and all that. I got my copy a couple weeks back, I've had time to read it and even try a small, solo game. Grelber |

You could post on this Facebook page link or ask here as the Author is a member on TMP I've played a few times and would like to get a campaign going. |

Roderick has just started a Pulp Action Library Yahoo Group. We can talk about Battle-Troll (and all our other rules) there. link What do you mean "whine about problems"? :) |

MJS, "whine about problems"? After swiftly decapitating three karls, one of my favorite characters was just killed by a Great Blow in a small solo game I ran to learn the rules and see how they work out in practice. Obviously, this is wrong, wrong, wrong! 8^) No, seriously, Roderick's Yahoo Group sounds great, and I am off to join. Grelber |

Well, it's not so much "mine" as "ours"; I just set it up. And I'm sure Achilles whined about getting killed by an arrow to the ankle, too! |

In the last month the gallant FusilierDan has utterly wiped out my bands of less-than-heroes twice. Including this past Thursday, when my huskarl, seizing a chance to take over from his dead chieftain, attacked Dan's leader and – with a momentary local advantage of numbers – drew the attack card that says %$#!! No, that's what it says. It's for that moment when your brain completely fails to deal with anything. It's not a card you'd pick deliberately. So my huskarl rushed in, failed to attack at all, and Dan stabbed him. Then Dan hacked his leg off, just to prove the point. |

Did it grow back? Or do you need a different card for that? |

I didn't want to kill him but it was the easiest way to gain back some of my reputation points and save some money compensating the families of the slain. |

You need to play the "Regrow limb" card. It's a unique feature of the game. |

I should probably indicate that my last response was untrue. I do not want to miss a sale because someone says "I was looking for a skirmish game about Vikings, but not one with a sci-fi element to it." |
