Hi everyone, I've had these GZG UNSC-L and the AW light grav tank for a while now and I wanted to be able to field them on the table top. I figured I'd see how many I could get done in one night.

This is pretty much the scheme i would like to recreate for my Micropanzer SAS figures who i have bought enough of to create a small contingent of 8th Armoured British Desert Rats. Im defiantly going to try and reproduce the way its been done here. This is a really effective and nice looking paint job especially when you take into account the time that they were completed in.

I think some colour schemes are great for the wash technique and this is one of them. Its the extra fine detail which adds that extra depth and these have them bang on. I'm even starting go like that horrible vehicle! In fact I like it a lot!

How a little paint can change your mind!

Thanks guys!

It was a happy accident, but I'm very happy with them. Especially the decal and the glossy helmet helps to bring out the details.

And the tank fits very well with them on the tabletop too.

I agree with MrHarold on the glossy hemets. That alone is tempting me to pick up a few of those figures. Very nice!

Very nice! I think im going to gloss coat the visors on my troopers too. Question- the white spots on the visors. Is it paint or camera flash?

The white spots are from the lights… although you could get the effect if you put the white spots first, and then gloss coat.

Edit: Now that I think about it, it's a great way to learn where to paint the white spots for a reflection effect!
