"Eureka compatibility w/ Zombicide minis (BGG referral" Topic

Some one over on BoardGameGeek is asking for some advice on using
Eureka minis w/ Zombicide:

I want to play a custom game using military figures and have some ideas. It may be quite some time, if ever, that official miniatures of that type will be produced.
I found some 28mm modern figures manufactured by Eureka Miniatures that
look very detailed in photos and are reasonably priced.
Does anyone have any of these miniatures and are they compatible in size with the official miniatures
(one manufacturer's 28mm isn't always the same size as another's
)and look as good as they do in photos?

Anyone have any advice or experience?

From memory I saw some Eureka minis at a show a while back. I didn't get that close a look at them but from what i could tell they did look the business.

I have had my eye on these MOPP equipt chaps for a while for my zombie game (can't justify the financial outlay at the moment as we have just had a baby…) link

I have only seen these particular minis on various websites, but

Eureka figs are very nice---you won't be disappointed! I think they will be fairly close to Zcide, maybe a bit slighter in stature.

Vampifan has some similar comparisons to some figs and Zcide ones at his site, but not to Eureka:

I am actually playing a game of Zombicide tonight and was looking at the figures that came with the game and some Eureka figures – I think they'll work nicely together.

And Eureka figures are definitely top notch.

I have both and they look fine. zombies are maybe a few mm taller, but the bases the zeds come fused to are thin… put your guys on fender washers or thicker and they will be the same height
