does anyone still make 54mm figures?
I used to buy New Hope Design and I&R but I don't see many anymore

There are lots around, plastic and metal and many websites selling them. Try michtoy.com for example.
and try the Little Wars yahoo group for people converting & gaming with them.

I own, but haven't painted, yet, three set of AWI 54mm from here:

I've been collecting 54mm Airfix WWII hard plastic recasts from a local shop. I've built plenty of 54mm Tamiya, Dragon and a few Academy figure kits. I buy them all locally, however, I know you can get them here:

hlj.com

I've browsed their selection before and I've placed a couple of orders and been very happy with their prices and service, although, I've actually just ordered sf kits from them, mainly Macross.

Tons of stuff out there in metal and plastic. What are you looking for?

Gary from Gary Hunt Miniatures has an extensive and exquisite range of 54mm figures. A veteran sculptor from Weta Workshop you can expect these figures to be top of the line.

Cheers

Yup, there are still diehard 54mm manufacturers out here, like us. We offer troops in the AWI, War of 1812, Napoleonics, and ACW. Plus terrain, accessories and wargame rules. Here's a link to our site. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Irregular do – they are in the UK though…
Plus your plastic stuff from Airfix, HaT & A Call to Arms. Italeri may still be available and Supreme do knock offs of them …

I have the old Bussler range available.
