For those of you who are looking for a new Viking game, here it is! From, legendary games designer Howard Whitehouse comes a fun new romp called "Battle-Troll". You can find the interview here: link

Five questions and not one of them about the whereabouts of the Contessa?

Played a game a few weeks ago. Lot's of fun. I'm hoping to get a short campaign going soon.

Got my copy this week, and read through it. They have added some new rules, like an optional rule for weapon effectiveness (something I like in part because one of my favorite figures carries a two handed axe, which should be more likely to make a Great Blow than wife's cabbage knife or the farmhand's pitchfork). Need to try a game now.

Always writes entertaining rules so I'm looking forward to having a look at these.

I read the interview & see Howard claims although from Birmingham he doesn't sound like Ozzy Osbourne … he did !

It's only since you gave up the drugs, booze & rock n roll lifestyle that it's mellowed H – more Sutton Coldfield these days ;-)

I do not sound like Ozzy Osbourne. When I call out for my wife to fix the many stupid things I have done, she does not answer to "Sharrrrrennnnn!!!"

This is because her name is not Sharon.

Looks like fun – how big a playing area is required? What are move/shooting distances? How long for an average game?

My wife is half Swedish and half Danish … I wouldn't bet against her with a cabbage knife.
