A) Does anyone know of comparison pics for all those critters?

auction

B) And which ones have you used with your 15mm SF games?

C) Re-based them? Re-painted them? Worth the trouble?

Thanks,

Dan

I seem to remember someone using a shark one to go with his Karks and it looked really good.

I like these: auction

And this one looks like it is really fast: auction

Edit: As pointed out it wasn't a shark with Karks, it was Spacejaker's Octopods!! I remember thinking how cool it would be to have the Octopods go up against the large shark and Karks in an aquarium setting.

Spacejacker has some beautiful repaints.

I can't help with comp photos, but the larger bases (monsters and buildings) are about 55m across, and the smaller ones (units) are 30mm. Many of them will work well in either 15mm or 6mm, and I've seen them used in 28mm as well as random critters for dungeoncrawls. They repaint about as well as any CMG figs I've seen, and are fairly easy to rebase if desired – a little harder to detach than D&D or the 'clix games, but much easier than Dreamblade (where the figs are cast as part of the center of the base).

More general link to Spacejacker's Monpoc repaint posts, which are indeed beauties:

I've used some of the Monpoc "unit" figures in 15mm SF games. I'll try to dig up some pics later today.

I used the Carnidons & Raptors from the Terrasaurs faction in a Guncrawl game. I have plans to use some of the Cthul and Planet Eater units in future games.

I did rebase them, but didn't re-paint. I may at some point, but not yet. The bases are simple 3/4" squares cut from mat boards.

The only comparisons I've got to 15mm for any MP figs are those compared to heavy gear Flail platoon minis for my Transformers game:

I'll have a look but the Cthul and Planet Eaters minis should scale quite well…

I snapped a few quick not too good pics of some Monpoc figures I've got painted up with some of my 15mm troops.

They are based on 2 inch squares.

I have 3x of the large Martian tripods in luminous green and i removed them from their original bases but a tentical ends broke off one of them, but its a very easy repair and as i will never get around to doing anything more to them let me know if there is any interest. Thanks Zac
