"Gearing up for 5150 Fighter Command." Topic

This will be my first ever spaceship game so I went with fleetscale fighters to keep the costs down and because I think they look better next to the capital ships.
All models are from Brigade Models exept the Star Navy Capships which are from Spartan Games.

Here's what I've finished so far

Star Navy light, medium and heavy fighters

Star Navy destroyers

Star Navy carrier

Hishen light, medium and heavy fighters.

Hishen bombers

Pirate/ Xeno raiders medium fighters.

Pirate / Xeno raider carrier.

If your mine is my mine than mine is yours!
I actually made enough of these to cover 2 sections.

These look really good, and I am a fan of playing games in smaller scale than intended to reduce cost.

What are the bases for the tiny fighters made of?

That is an excellent collection and I really enjoyed the little satellites.

The flight stands are made of upside down roofing nails with a disk of magnetic paper glued to the bottom. I painted the board with magnetic paint that way there's less chance of them getting moved about by accident.

I really enjoyed making them too, I vastly prefer them over tokens.

Nice miniatures! I also like your idea for basing them.
