I have a shipment of the new Prussian 3/6/12 pounders and 10 pound howitzer, Prussian limbers, French 8 and 12 pounders (these will be awesome, and huge!), a pontoon wagon and extra pontoons, and a wicker-sided munitions wagon, scheduled to arrive on Monday June 3rd, next week.

In the meantime, here are some piccies of the current British and French cannon that we have in our AWI range. Most of the artillery can also be used for the War of Austrian Succession and the Seven Years War and are designed to match up with the Minden Miniatures figures.

For more information or to place an order or inquiry, go to the Fife & Drum blog at fifedrumminis.blogspot.com

You know, when I started out there were NO specialized AWI artillery. I guess I can weed out the Napoleonic guns now. grin
I have no sentimental attachment to them.

Much like John…way back when…

I used the old Hinchliffe 30mm equipment for my 1740-63 armies. How do you think these would serve for Willie-sized gunners?

Just eyeballing a few Willies with the existing range of cannon, I'd say that the French guns should work fine with the Willies, I'm not so sure about the British 6- pdr though.

Jim,

That is all wonderful news. I very much appreciate your efforts to provide us all with authentic ordnance. I'll place my order soon. It will be several kilos of gun metal, I fear. I want all, and in pairs or fours :–) especially the French and Prussian ones.

Did you do the Prussian M1744 long 10-pdr howitzer I illustrated? That would be just fantastic.

Cheers,
Christian

Christian, I think that the Howitzer is the one that you described. You are going to get one of each cannon model free since we could not have made the models without your drawings.
